A celebration of life

From the Celubrious Archive

"THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF TALENT, MAN-MADE TALENT AND GOD-GIVEN TALENT.
WITH MAN-MADE TALENT YOU HAVE TO WORK VERY HARD.
WITH GOD-GIVEN TALENT, YOU JUST TOUCH IT UP ONCE IN A WHILE. "

PEARL BAILEY

Taking on new challenges and seeking excellence can lead to happiness. Waiting around for that special inspiration can leave you standing on the corner after the parade of life has moved down the road. In either case when you set high goals you are bound to experience mistakes and become frustrated by repeated difficulties or setbacks. By challenging life and making mistakes you keep the ability to learn new talents and touch up the old ones. By not challenging life’s difficulties and trying to avoid mistakes you could be making the biggest mistake of all. Mistakes are the portals of discovery!

RANDOM REFLECTIONS

  •   Hope sets high goals and is not frustrated by repeated difficulties or setbacks.
  •    The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything:
they just make the most of everything that comes their way.
  •    Big shots are only little shots who keep shooting.
  •    Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.
